On Wednesday May 2, we did a writing exercise (using the process of listing, gathering information, outlining, and timed writing) for a choice of the following words: Birthdays, Pets, or Lunchroom.
We also paired the sentence "I never told anyone. . ." with a family member shrouded in mystery to come up with a story to write about.
We also started image journals and I asked you to keep on this week. An image journal (you can see archives of my winter class to see what they came up with) is a way of recalling a day in your life (like yesterday) and listing what you remember about that day in images. For example, what sights, sounds, and smells do you recall from yesterday?
